Fixing the exhaust hanger on the Newport. All fixed up now. Spending time with the old man, and the old car, good weekend.

Fuel was low octane all this time. Drained the tank completely via fuel rail, and refilled it with 94 MON / 101.5 RON. Finally the car doesn't just want to knock itself to death. 

Truly the first. THE FIRST TIME the car has acted normally since this project was started in 2005.  Now the driving can start!

1998 GS400 ~ My high school dreamin' pic from it's release. This original Lexus pic shows the car mysteriously low before production. This was my only true dream car from high school.

NOW...

I'm using Tanabe springs to achieve the same look, pretty sure the car was intended to sit at this height, but was jacked up to accommodate a more versatile range of roads. I think it's just right for daily action.
