Driving around.

I like these wheels for some reason. 

URAS Exsol 17x9.5+15 245/45 and 225/45

Obviously could go more low but this is my "setting up the car" height. Need to go to get the emissions test, can't be too low.

Been driving the car a little to see how it is. Not satisfied yet, I think I have some minor things to work out, car feels slow.

Second weekend. Didn't run yet.

Got everything done except for some of the dash wiring. I had a return line fuel leak late monday night so I pushed it outside so I could make a new AN line next weekend and then try to start it. It should start without  a problem.

Exhaust still tucked with the new DP I had to fab up.

By the end of the weekend, everything under the hood was dealt with, except no boost controller. Also I need some specific couplers to make a place for the air filter and intake area.

First weekend, motor is in.

Prepped and installed the motor this weekend.

Nachi pilot bearing barely had any grease at all. I repacked it nicely after this pic.

Installed timing belt and tentioner, new seals were already done when I got the motor. Also put the new Ross crank pulley and belt. Installed the jzx81 motor mounts with a tiny bit of trimming for the turbo oil feed hardline to clear. Installed the trans an wired up the trans wires. Ready to rock and roll.

When I picked up the motor I remembered that the pan was a bit dented so I took it off and popped out the dent, checked the oil pickup was still ok and reinstalled it with some high temp silicone. Motor dropped in like nothing.

Next long weekend it will be running, and maybe have time to work on the aero.
